BBC World Service has been bringing high quality journalism to international audiences for over 70 years.
They broadcast on radio and online in 43 languages, including English, and have offices and staff around the world including a network of over 250 journalists across the globe and news bureaux in 50 major cities - more than any other broadcaster.
BBC World Service began broadcasting on Hills AM on August 11 2003 and is still going strong.

We broadcast this high quality radio from 11pm to 6am every night and a special news hour from 8am to 9am from Monday to Friday.
